Quote a defined V2 offer
A wholesale inquiry for a V2 reusable metal injection pen should describe the exact item the distributor intends to buy. The phrase metal pen for 3mL cartridges communicates a direction, but it leaves open the model revision, included components, appearance and packaging.
Use the selected PLZ product reference and ask the supplier to identify the offered configuration in its response. Do not combine specifications from different V2 pages or assume that a wholesale listing includes every service mentioned elsewhere in the catalog.
Separate hardware and cartridge responsibilities
State whether the inquiry covers empty reusable metal pen hardware, additional components or a broader service package. Ask explicitly whether cartridges, needles, filling, instructions and individual packaging are included or excluded.
If the project uses a specified 3mL cartridge, provide its reference and the technical information available for review. Treat that requirement separately from the commercial quantity. A supplier's price response does not automatically close a compatibility question.
Identify who will review technical suitability and destination-market requirements. Keep the RFQ focused on the information needed to obtain a useful offer rather than presenting it as approval of a finished drug-device product.
Make quantities and pricing assumptions comparable
Provide sample, first-order and estimated repeat-order quantities separately. If several body colors, logos or packaging versions are needed, show the quantity for each variant. Ask whether minimum quantities apply by model, color, marking or packing version.
Request a breakdown of recurring unit costs and any one-time charges. Clarify what starts the quoted lead time and whether it depends on sample, artwork or packaging approval. Ask for the quotation currency, validity and delivery scope.
For landed-cost planning, have the responsible logistics specialists identify freight and destination costs outside the supplier offer. Do not describe a quoted hardware price as the full delivered cost without checking those assumptions.
Use a practical inquiry template
A useful V2 RFQ includes: exact product reference; reusable metal configuration; intended 3mL cartridge reference; sample quantity; order quantity by variant; target market; body finish and logo requirements; packing contents; and required delivery window.
Mark unconfirmed requirements clearly so that PLZ can distinguish mandatory needs from options still under discussion. Ask for a revised offer if the scope changes before order release.
