Start with the configuration behind the appearance
A V2 metal injection pen can support a distinct private-label presentation, but the branding brief should begin with the actual hardware configuration. Confirm the reusable pen model and the 3mL cartridge arrangement under consideration before developing artwork or a packaging concept.

Define a finish that can be evaluated
Provide an agreed color reference and describe which surfaces it applies to: body, cap, marking or packaging. If texture or gloss matters, include a physical reference or another mutually agreed acceptance basis. A screen image is useful for a concept but can be ambiguous as the sole production reference.
Ask the supplier to identify the proposed finish and any relevant limitations. Do not assume every metal part can use the same color process or produce an identical appearance. Request a representative sample when the finish is important to the order.
Review appearance separately from performance. A metallic finish does not establish durability, corrosion resistance or suitability for a cleaning method without relevant evidence.
Turn the logo into a controlled artwork file
Supply editable artwork where available and a reference PDF showing the intended result. State logo orientation, size and position using a model-specific drawing or image. Ask the technical team to review whether the marking could interfere with scales, instructions or identification.
Use a mockup to check spelling and layout, then record approval of the representative physical result. Keep the artwork revision, sample identifier and accepted deviations together. If body color is approved but engraving contrast needs correction, record those as separate decisions.
Match the packaging to the hardware offer
List the exact contents of each pack and identify what is excluded. Do not use packaging text or images that imply a drug-filled V2 product when the purchase covers empty reusable metal pen hardware.
For a 3mL cartridge project, clarify whether cartridges are supplied, shown only for demonstration or excluded entirely. Confirm minimum quantities, artwork charges and approval milestones for each variant before order release.
