V1 Metal Injection Pen Appearance Checks: Record Defects Clearly

Create a useful V1 metal injection pen appearance record with consistent observation conditions, clear defect locations and agreed reference samples.

V1 Metal Injection Pen Appearance Checks: Record Defects Clearly

Define the purpose of an appearance review

An appearance review of a metal V1 injection pen should turn subjective comments into observations that a supplier can reproduce. Words such as premium or poor finish do not explain where the concern is or what the buyer expected.

Keep this review separate from technical performance evaluation. A clean surface and consistent color do not demonstrate dose accuracy or suitability for a particular medicine. Confirm the selected V1 configuration and use the approved finish reference for that order.

Use consistent observation conditions

Agree on how the sample will be examined, including lighting, viewing distance and the surfaces to be reviewed. The responsible quality team should define criteria appropriate to the project rather than adopting arbitrary limits from an unrelated product.

Identify body, cap, controls and marking areas separately. On a metal body, record visible concerns such as scratches, inconsistent finish or marks at component contact points. Describe what is observed without asserting a manufacturing cause that has not been investigated.

Compare samples under the same conditions. A photograph taken in direct sunlight should not be compared uncritically with one taken under a different indoor light. Where color judgment matters, retain an agreed physical reference and note the conditions used for comparison.

Make every observation traceable

Give each affected unit a sample identifier. Record its source, receipt date and any available batch or shipment reference. Photograph the whole item for orientation, then take a closer view of the concern with a scale reference when size is relevant.

A useful observation reads: sample V1-A03, body near cap interface, visible line under agreed viewing conditions; see photograph A03-2. This describes a location and evidence without inventing a defect threshold.

If an issue becomes visible only after handling or packing, document the sequence. Keep original images and avoid filters that alter surface appearance.

Agree on the next action and reference

Send PLZ one organized record rather than scattered photographs. Include the observation, the agreed requirement, supporting evidence and requested response. Distinguish questions awaiting investigation from issues already agreed to require correction.

Retain any accepted reference sample and record approved deviations. If the finish requirement changes, update the order documentation before production. Discuss your V1 model and appearance requirements through https://www.plzmedical.com/en/contact.
