Explain exactly what is changing
A V1 injection pen order can change after sample approval: a logo moves, a packaging version changes or a different configuration is proposed. A short message saying use the latest version can leave production teams uncertain about which document controls the work.
Start each change request with the order reference, selected V1 model and current revision. Describe the existing requirement and the proposed replacement. Attach the revised drawing or artwork where applicable and identify the affected quantities.
Separate cosmetic and technical review
An appearance change may require artwork or sample approval. A proposed change to materials, components or interfaces needs review by the responsible technical team. Do not assume that a change is harmless because its description sounds small.
Ask PLZ to explain which documents, processes or samples are affected. Keep the supplier's proposal distinct from the buyer's approval. A quotation acknowledging a new option does not by itself establish that technical evaluation is complete.
For example, a new box design may change the packing arrangement without changing the pen configuration. A new body finish may need a separate review of appearance and manufacturing implications. Record the actual assessment instead of applying the same approval path to both.
Agree on the effect before implementation
Request confirmation of any effect on price, minimum quantity, sample preparation and schedule. If some goods have already been produced, ask which quantities remain under the old revision and how they will be identified.
Agree on the implementation point using an order, batch or other mutually understood reference. Avoid phrases such as from now on when several orders are in progress. Receiving staff need a practical way to distinguish versions.
Record who can authorize the change and when authorization was given. Do not let an informal comment from a reviewer substitute for the final decision assigned in the project.
Update the full document set
After approval, align the specification, quotation, artwork, packing instructions and purchase order as needed. Mark superseded documents clearly and ask the supplier to confirm the controlling revision.
Keep a change log containing the reason, affected documents, implementation point and open actions. For repeat orders, check this log before copying a previous purchase order. Send a V1 project inquiry or configuration question to https://www.plzmedical.com/en/contact with the relevant model and revision references.
